CLASSICAL AND NEW APPROXIMATION SPACES:

THEORY  AND  APPLICATIONS 

celebrating the 70th birthday of Laura Gori

 

 

 

The conference Classical and New Approximation Spaces: Theory and Applications will be held on February, 5-7, 2004  in  Aula del Chiostro, Faculty of Engineering, Via Eudossiana 18. 

 


Aims

The meeting will focus mainly in the recent results on Approximation Theory and its Applications. The conference is the conclusion  of the GNCS Project “Funzioni Splines e Funzioni Raffinabili nei loro Aspetti Applicativi” and will celebrate the 70th birthday of  the project leader  Laura Gori.

Abstract submission

The program includes 45-minutes plenary lectures, and 20-minutes communications. The participants interested in presenting a communication, are required to send a single page abstract to the Organizing Committee by e-mail before January 15, 2003. The abstract should be LaTeX-formatted in the style Article, and should contain a title, names of the authors,  official addresses and e-mails. The proceedings of the conference will be published on a special issue.
