The main goal of SMART Conferences is to bring together researchers working in the fields of Subdivision, Geometric and Algebraic Methods, Isogeometric Analysis and Refinability, with special emphasis on new emerging research areas.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, Algebraic and Differential Geometry, Computer Aided Design, Curve and Surface Design, Finite Elements, NURBS and Isogeometric Analysis, Refinability, Approximation Theory, Subdivision, Wavelets and Multi-Resolution Methods.

SMART 2017 is also an opportunity to honor the memory of Laura Gori.
