Welcome to the website of SBAI, the Department of Basic and Applied Sciences for Engineering at Sapienza University of Rome.

SBAI offers a wide variety of research activities and teaching at all levels.

It was created by joining the Department of Mathematical Models and Methods for Applied Sciences (MeMoMat) , the Department of Energy and the Department of Engineering Chemistry Materials Environment (ICMA).
